In a massive blow to Chelsea, club skipper John Terry is expected to be out for 10 days after straining ligaments in the right foot.

The veteran defender left the Liberty Stadium on crutches after he was injured during the 2-2 draw against Swansea.

Terry posted a short video on social networking site Instagram that showed him undergoing treatment.

Unfortunately for Terry and Chelsea fans, he will miss the crucial game against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Friday.

David Luiz is expected to replace the England defender in the playing eleven.

The Brazilian re-joined Chelsea in summer from French champions PSG.

Premier League giants Chelsea on Saturday announced their latest signing in the form of Leicester City midfielder N`Golo Kante.

The Frenchman switched sides for about £32 million (38 million euros, $42 million) in a five-year deal.

Kante was one of the most important players in the Foxes’  squad, which created history earlier in the year.

He becomes the second signing of the summer for Antonio Conte after securing the services of Michy Batshuayi from Marseille for a similar fee.

"I am so happy to have signed for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It`s a dream come true for me," Kante told Chelsea`s website.

"The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down," he further added.

The 25-year-old had joined the English champions from Caen for a bargain £5.6 million.

Kante was shortlisted for the 2015-16 PFA Players` Player of the Year award after putting up a sterling display at the heart of Leicester’s midfield.
